Them not being serious doesn't matter at all, them joking in this manner is just disturbing flat out. These students have had enough schooling (they are all at the age where that course has been given) to know what Nazi's did and how serious of a matter that is.

The protection of students around them was more of a priority, and here I'm pretty sure schools do not have power over mental health matters of students or resources to be ordering mass psychologist analyzations. They are to simply educate these students in academia. Now it's their parents or for the ones who are 18 their own thing to seek therapy or whatever. They only have control over how the student body is affected by matters that break the rules such as mass discrimination. So removing them is their action.

That's not the school's job though, that's the parent's responsibility. I'm sure there are many students at that school who don't feel safe knowing that those types of kids are walking the halls, plotting to murder them. The school has a responsiblity to the rest of their students/parents/faculty to remove those threats asap.
