You have posters speaking for huge countries of 60+ Million people saying how they're so progressive, so secular, etc. (often to silence criticisms about the country or the people) and then incidents like this happen.
Obviously sarcasm isn't really read well on the internet, but my bad if my joke wasn't clear, so if you would paint millions of people (like Muslims, for example, or black people) due to the actions of a few, you can't get mad if then people use that same thing against you. That's what tons of those joke "but ATRL told me [x]" posts are about, because there is a tangible pro-white/pro-Europe group of posters / bias and they generalize so much and then are silent when they're contradicted.
