They probably already know if they're asking you. Most closested people don't know that everyone already knows. My friends knew, but still ask me about girls until I came out.

What helped me come out was taking a honest approach. When they ask you abouta girl, work up the courage to say "oh, no I'm actually gay" or something like that.

I thought my roommate in college would be homophobic, and none of my friends would Out me when he asked. When I did come out to him he was really cool with it, and we were like brothers!

When you're in the closet your perception of yourself and the people around you is completely distorted. Come out for clairity. If you find these people don't accept you, you will gravitate to people who do.

Just the way some gays can come across. We probably use mannerisms and facial expressesions that we don't even realize. I think unless you're completely masculine then people won't assume. It's dumb, but people use stereotypes to identify gay men, not realizing the very masculine guy in the corner could be a gay bottom!
