Apple launched the iPad in the U.S. on April 3rd and according to Steve Jobs via his Twitter, iPad has sold more than 700, 000 units.
Why all the fuss? Isn't just a big iPod touch, Iphone or a mini version of MacBook?
Not quite but it's everything in between. iPad is using glossy touch-screen display technology but on top right corner is the orientation lock switch which lets the iPad stay in the current orientation. Unlike, iPhone, this is very convenient when, say, you are in bed, sofa, beach wherever and reading something or watching a movie. You can even download your Jackie Collins books online or online gaming.
iPad has sold out at many US retailers such as Best Buy and Walmart and some even claim iPad to be "the replacement for the laptop".
on the Australian Morning show! one of them had a ipad, and the other guy was playing it while this women was telling a serious news and then bad romance by lady gaga was playing in the background
or online gaming.
