Wicked calls it "top 5-ish of MJ's career, but the star here is King Quincy. Those drums, though! And obviously... Annie is not OK Michael, stop asking." Latinazza said she was "giving this a 10 to offset Connor's likely score of a zero. [Am I that obvious?!] Apart from the annoying yet iconic "Annie are you OK?" lyric this isn't as bad as some want to make it." Well, I appear to be alone on not liking this one; the second-lowest score was a 5 from Reverie, and we were the only people to give it less than a 7.75! I just hate it. Buyonce1814 says, "I feel like this is one of those songs where the song isn't bad but the video makes it seem much greater than it is. 9 for the nostalgia."
And just like that, MJ is out!

But it's alright, it's for a worthy cause... | Low-key didn't expect this one to make it this far. "Starfish And Coffee" was co-written by Susannah Melvoin, one of the vocalists of The Family, who Prince wrote "Nothing Compares 2 U" about.
"I've never really been sure if I like this song or not," says Buyonce1814. "It has a great melody but then some of the lyrics in the chorus..." On the other hand, Latinazza says, "Another gem from an awesome album. Those lyrics are adorable." Kang. says, "I was always under the impression that this was a sexual song, even after I'd listened to the album a couple of times, until one fateful day I actually paid attention to it and... Surprise! The least sexual song ever."
