TBH it should win, but if it doesn't, who cares. It's still one of the best albums of the year and one of the most acclaimed pop albums of all time.

It deserves to be nominated, but among the potential nominations of Blackstar, Lemonade, AMSP, none of them are really clear cut better than the other. It's a tight race. Adding the commercial appeal of 25 just makes it tighter.

If she loses, she loses. It won't make or break her career. And I honestly don't think losing that award motivates her to make better music. She's just naturally progressing. Saying she should lose, from a fan viewpoint, is nonsensical.

There are a lot of great contenders, quality wise. 25 is not one of them, but will somehow receive recognition because it sold a lot.

It's definitely nowhere near as good as his previous work but still. Do you really think it's that bad (or mediocre?) I'm genuinely curious.

I don't like the album, so obviously I'm not rooting for it to win. ST should have won tho, such a shame. I'll never forgive them.

To me, this sounds like some Hive members are putting this out there to psych themselves out because they were overconfident with BEYONCE and there hope is that they underestimate so that they can feel victorious if she won.

I mean Lemonade is a definitive album of the course of this year so it shouldn't be a surprise if it won. If not, then it would come down to artistry of a Radiohead or the artistry, authentic universal appeal and commercial success of an Adele.

If she loses with Lemonade then it only confirms that her chances are going to be better when not releasing against a Taylor or an Adele.

Wouldn't it be something if she loses for Lemonade but then the Jay z Beyonce album win it which would be big for r&b and hip hop.

That's a lot of die hard fans right there!

Some would argue 25 is quality and Lemonade was not much after the initial hype.

So it goes both ways.

25 receives recognition for being a huge album that broke all the records with huge singles that are relatable and universal and it also happens to be commercially successful based on single release/album release strategies that are more tranditional.

Selling alot won't be the only component for 25. It's not Adele's fault she can naturally have universal appeal, commercial appeal and critical acclaim while shattering records.

I'd be ok with Adele, Radiohead or Beyonce or i guess David bowie (although it would feel like a charity award because he was so underrated to the grammy's before his death)

Let's not go the quality route though...
