I've always been wondering about this... Why is 'Dick' a name? I mean, why would parents name their child Dick? It's like they want him to be bullied and considered as a joke

The penis has many nicknames like Dick, Johnson, Willy and other regular names. People don't put too much weight on it. However using Dick as a name seems to have decreased.
