Classic democracy for leftists and europhiles - democracy means a referendum every Thursday until they get the result they want.

There has been a material change in circumstances since the last referendum, and the Scottish people elected a party that promised to hold a referendum if we were forced out of the EU. It would be undemocratic for them to refuse to do one, and they'd likely collapse in favour of a more radical independence party (See: IPP after they became comfortable at Westminster without delivering Home Rule)
Just because you disagree with it doesn't make it undemocratic. Just like it'd be completely acceptable for the Unionists to hold a reunification referendum in 2021 if elected to the Scottish Government with that promise, it's acceptable for the opposite. Until there is a clear landslide majority for either side this question will never be answered. 55% is not an overwhelming majority that can never be toppled. 60%+, at a minimum.
Maybe if Cameron didn't use the morning after the referendum to say "Thanks for staying, now sit down, shut up and stay away from Westminster" before running his 2015 General Election campaign with a pillar of hatred towards Scottish people we wouldn't be having this conversation, eh? Literally used his victory speech to drive the first wedge in the newly secured union. Can't expect Scottish people to sit quietly and happily whilst the English forces English nationalist governments on them.
