Never managed to get into him apart from a few songs. Sometimes I don't have enough concentration to focus on purely lyrics driven songs and that's what he's mainly about.

also i''ve only ever heard people saying he isn't that good of singer but a great song-writer so i'm not surprised at people saying they can't get into his music.
