No they don't. The issue here was refugees that are coming from middle east. I can bet if muslims from Kosovo or Albania happen to come to Canada, they wouldn't be facing as much criticism because they come from countries are secular and value progressive European culture that majority of people from the middle east don't have, and I am not just talking about countries laws, but people in general show progressive views compared to middle easterns.
