Mother Teressa : this dumb bitch is responsible for killing THOUSANDS of people due to her stupid backwards belief. She let so many patients suffer horribly.
Thomas Edison :world-class thief. Took so many ideas from his employees and Co-workers and patented under his name
Interesting thread idea. Gandhi to an extent. I appreciate him being there because he inspired MLK Jr. in terms of peaceful protesting and he did give India their independence but he was a creepy racist. Also Mother Teresa. I need tea on Steve Jobs
Donald Trump, Andrew Jackson, Christopher Columbus, Mother Theresa, Joe McCarthy...
And I have no respect for John Lennon.
This is an interesting thread idea. I've actually wanted to start a discussion about historical figures that weren't as good as their godlike reputations / legacies made them out to be (Mother Theresa being a literal saint in the Catholic Church repulses me). Even people like MLK, JFK, and Ghandi have been very "watered down," meaning that they have very specific legacies and a lot of what they said and did (particularly their more controversial words / actions) is not known to the average person or included in "mainstream" discourse about them.
Columbus, def. Give me tea on Mother Teresa pls :eyes:
She ignored people's suffering because she claimed it brought them closer to God. When it was her time of need she made sure to get the best treatment. So much for getting closer to God huh. She was a bad person, but somehow the church turned her into a saint.
Andrew Jackson should not be on currency, he is directly responsible of genocide of millions of Native Americans. No other civilized country would revere a man as repulsive
Oh, and my city has a statue of John C. Calhoun in the main square. He was a white supremacist who defended slavery. Why?
Mother Teresa was running a hospice (not a hospital) in one of the places in the world with the most terrible human conditions where the old, sick and dying untouchables ostracized and rejected by society, who would have otherwise died on the streets, were given a temporary shelter to have a dignified and peaceful death. The criticisms against her are highly unwarranted and uncharitable and is largely based on the misunderstanding of the context of her mission.
Mother Teresa
Gandhi
Christopher Columbus
every US president ever especially the founding fathers
Coco Chanel - she was a Nazi supporter; her company is now owned by Jewish people (the ****ing come up you dead bitch)
