if you wanted to experience the note line where were you for the past 5 releases? the note 5 was the best phone released in 2015. the note 7 looked heavenly but im so happy i chose not to upgrade my s7 edge(and note 5) for an Iris scanner.

i think namesake wise the Note line is dead.
sad day however **** these billion dollar companies! this fiasco is good news for consumers. the s8 and whatever they rename the Note to will, no doubt, slay lives. time to regain your customers.

with the s8 literally RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER i cant wait to see how Samsung will handle its release. Hopefully the media **** show dies down soon for the sake of the s8. Theres been many manufacturer ****ups but I don't think any in recent times comes close to the Note 7 spectacle

what i want to see them do is merge the note and edge line (will never happen) and release it alongside the s8
then either scrap the note launch completely or come out with entirely new product to replace it. something like they did last year with the s6 edge "pro" that was released alongside the Note.

however its unlikely anything will change to be honest. the general public memory is very fickle.

this is really unfortunate, seeing how good the phone was, best of its kind.

i had like 8 Android phones before now, but never a Samsung, (Motorola, LG, Oppo, Oneplus, etc) probably me trying to be a hipster + Touchwiz cringe me hard. But when they release Note 5, i think i like that, unfortunately, i just switched to iphone 6 on 2015, so i decided to wait for the next Note, then **** happens.

That's what you get for prioritizing design over functionality (non-removable vs removable battery). Guess Samsung is over now, this is one of the biggest fiasco in smartphone industry i think
