Formation gets spoken a lot about on atrl and being from the UK i've never even heard it on tv, club or radio although I have heard sorry and hold up a few times. Obviously Beyonce herself is not local everyone knows her e.t.c but the song itself..

Its UK sales are pretty decent considering it was never single and hasn't been promoted here, but yeah, you're not going to hear it on the radio or in a club. Its basically an album track in the UK.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking I always forget it was a single when i hear it on shuffle.. like my mum knows Sorry she loves the becky with the good hair line because that's her name :LLLLL and i know a lot of people who know hold up but with formation it just feels like a random album track

It was never a single, not even in the U.S. It's just an album track that she performed at the super bowl. It was never sent to any radio stations and was never promoted as such. The video is unlisted on YouTube still. Bey purposefully didn't want to capitalize off of Formations message that's why it's "local" because it was never pushed anywhere.
