I was actually just talking about the first part of your sentence and thought you were talking about the first episode when Madison flipped over the buys
, completely glossed over the "Surprise, bitch" part which I can understand more obviously lol. But at the same time I would argue most people who use it don't know or care where it came from. That's the case with most popular gifs tbh. Like, Annalise leaving the DA's office isn't the most iconic part of HTGAWM but it's far and away the most popular/recognizable.
