To read the classics ofc! I wish I majored in classics

Mandarin. I'd like to be prepared for the moment China takes over!

I would LOVE to be fluent in Italian, especially so I can speak it to my nonni. Right now, I can pick up parts of it, get the gist of what is being said, and respond in English.

Japanese, Korean, Italian, French, and now Tagalog because of my boyfriend

Italian, Greek, Japanese and Catalan (I was in Barcelona for a class residential and reading Catalan was amazing)

Spanish, it would be the most useful language to learn since it’s so widely spoken in the US, I live in South Florida and half of the population speaks Spanish.
French because it sounds beautiful and makes you sound sophisticated, but it would be kind of useless since i dont plan on ever living in France. I really want to learn more Spanish and maybe study abroad in Spain one day.

You don't really learn ancient languages like you learn modern ones. I studied Ancient Greek for 5 years and apart from all the grammar and some frequent words I wouldn't be able to say much, let alone read the classics. There's no real word order in Ancient Greek so the only way to understand it is with the extensive use of a dictionary
