Guys I'm probably super late to the discussion but what happened to the album? I thought it was all done and ready to go?

I don't think that was ever said... and we've gone through a few seasons of The Income of her talking about recording since Locust

All we know is she has songs, last time I checked

prince performance canceled, because she has vocal illness. Doctor's Orders by the way..

I'm so upset about this because Prince is another fav of mine. She was replaced by Jessie J who performed "I Wanna Be Your Love" and "Nothing Compares 2 U" -- I would have loved seeing/hearing Christina perform those songs.

I don't think she is doing The Voice Season 12, not even working on her album.

She's not returning to The Voice in 2017!!

I think she is taking another break from The Voice because she WILL release new music.

BUT knowing Xtina I won't get my hopes too high.

I was listening to Save Me From Myself last night... what a song

Too damn long..

I really want her to kill it with the visuals this era. A cabaret style would be amazing for her... she would look so beautiful. She could even do a theater tour (if her ego allows her to) and that would make perfect sense since it is a cabaret styled era.

In terms of music, I just want a good slow record with a lot of R&B songs & ballads. The first single should be something like hurt, it would be a great start and since ballads are very in these days it could do well.

And before the album is released she should release at least two promo singles & of course the second single too.

Promo should be on point too, she could come back so hard if she wanted to.

I know I'll be excited again when official news are released, but man, right now this is probably the least hyped I've ever been for a Christina album. All this waiting sucks.

At least her not returning to the The Voice next season is a good sign. I hope...

I feel you.... but I am trying to hype up myself.

This silence/wait is really killing her career. I'm fearing that it will be too late for her to come back when she's ready.
