After a quick research and finding this,
a bit less biased source, I read that the PiS abortion law will allow abortion in case of rape or a threat to mother's health. The only real difference is restricting the right to abort a child with a genetic defect. I'd lean towards the current compromise as I wouldn't want to be forced to raise a child with a terminal illness. However, to me it's still fair enough. Everybody has the right to live and there have been many people with Down's Syndrome that managed to succeed in life.
