Nah he's at a different place now. This is his third album following two multi-Platinum ones with multiple #1 hits. He's also following up on one of the biggest smash hits of all time.
Someone compared him to P!nk, well "So What" (kind of the same place Bruno is in his career) zoomed to #1 in only four weeks.
This also has the video out right now. SNL may give it a boost but it's going to peak in sales and streaming within the first few weeks.

People said the exact same thing when Uptown Funk didn't reach the Top 10 on iKoons when it was released, claiming it was flopping cause it was in the 30s, then he promoted it two weeks after the release and it skyrocked to the Top 3 and the rest is histoRIH.

Yeah, but Uptown Funk was a collaboration with a producer who hadn't had a hit in years, this is a lead single with a music video out.
But I'll tell myself anything rn to delude myself into thinking it'll flop, the slimmest chance gives me hope of a better future.

It's just not realistic. The same happened with Locked Out Of Heaven, the fomos claimed it was going to flop cause it's not their usual generic smash pop song, it left the Top 10 of iKoons too, only to come with a vengeance once promo & radio started catching up.

It took four weeks for LooH to crack the top ten on Billboard. I'm not sure why people are so quick to call this one when, if anything, it's performing just like any other Bruno single -- perhaps better, honestly.
