I hope this is true and he is happy and their relationship is still good. He worked a great deal with her on the last two albums and got dragged quite a bit so I hope he isn't too bothered.
It's natural for a musician to wanna branch out and try different things/producers so i'm glad to see they don't seem to hold any bad blood!
I've always felt bad for DJWS when Monsters attack him. He's a perfectly capable producer. He worked on many fantastic tracks on BTW and was behind one of the few true highlights of ARTPOP (DWUW). Any fault with the songs he worked on lies in Gaga's writing imo, and of course she (not DJWS!) is to blame for putting the final approval on any song Monsters dislike.
Meanwhile Zedd and Madeon served messy, overworked production (and in Zedd's case, served two recycled songs)... and they never have rude Monsters in their mentions.
Has he been working on anyone else's music? I assume not much. Hopefully the BTW royalties are enough for him.
