I don't get the Cersei obsession (espescially since she's directly responsible for the death of my queen Marg and now I basically wanna see her rot.

Anyway, Dany has a level-head and has Tyrion and Varys on her side, and can free slaves & command cities that the men left in her position when she was kidnapped couldn't handle so i'm gonna go with her.

Cersei was more "interesting" as a character right off the bat but nothing much about her has changed. Dany's character development on the other hand has been really interesting and exciting to watch so I'm gonna go with her.

Cersei, Daenerys is starting to get a bit annoying but I think that might be the actress more than anything else.

I've loved cersie since 'the battle of the black water bay'. For me she has the best character development. She's lost everything and now coming for blood. I love how she was so irrelevant in the book and yet slay the tv show because of how good Lena is. I also love Dany but she seems like a protagonist who always win and that's boring and predictable for me.

This is why I hate them both. Cersei is a pretty cliche Evil Queen / Lady Macbeth type, while Daenerys is a textbook example of a Mary Sue. They're among the worst main characters in GoT, certainly the worst main female characters. I like Daenerys much more in the books, so I guess some of my distaste for her is due to Emilia Clarke's so-so performance. Cersei, on the other hand, is helped TREMENDOUSLY by Lena's portrayal, she was truly robbed at the Emmys tbqh.

While I'm personally praying for Cersei's death in S7 (and generally root for Dany), I appreciate Cersei as a character more. Daenerys' whole shtick is way overdone in fantasy (ironic and unfortunate, given GRRM probably inspired a lot of the writers who've made me sick of her).
