to me, i find that America's treatment of natural born African American citizens during slavery and Jim Crows Laws disgusting. They had every right to be a free man with equal protection, as dictated by the 13th-15th amendments. The way white Americans(more specifically Southerners) makes loopholes around the constituted laws to reap the pleasure of seeing black people suffer then was ugly.
