Saying I respect your choice to be vegan was a bit fake of me anyway. I don't respect vegans, I think they are idiotic earth lovers who need a good slap across the face with a great big raw juicy steak, based purely on those who clog up my timeline on Facebook with post after post about "yet another cruelty-free meal"!
And to quote the great Joan Rivers, the animals she wears have gotten to go to the opera... How many other dead animals can say that? Fox fur >>>>>

That doesn't give them right to hassle meat eaters for their choices. They have more carrots to eat thanks to meat eaters.

In which case, where do you draw the line? It is impossible for certain countries to lead vegetarian or vegan lives due to the lack of alternatives to meat available or to their extreme poverty. Do we ban meat in some places, but not in others? Who decides which ones? If your argument is against the cruelty of slaughterhouses, do we ban those but legalise hunting? As you say, slaughterhouses can be cruel, but animals killed by other animals in the wild are sometimes afforded a quick death. Hunters give them a quick death also.
Bottom line is, humans are designed to eat meat. It is proven by the fact that we can only survive from a natural diet (one that does not contain genetically modified, specially developed or nutrient fortified foods) that contains both meat and non-meat. It will never EVER be made illegal. Now, if you want to make an argument against the cruel treatment of animals before slaughter (in which case, you are much more likely to opposed to the food industry compared to the fur industry, whose animals require fully-feed, outdoor and stress-free environments for the coat to be worth anything at all), that is where I am happy to agree with you and find some middle ground.

Humans and animals are equal regardless of what people with self-inflated views of themselves may think. The universe doesn't give a **** whether a human, chicken or whale dies. All living creatures die, become rotting corpses and life goes on. If people want to deluded themselves into thinking they are more important than they actually are then that's up to them but in the grand scheme of things they're not.
Yes ideally I'd like meat to be illegal. It's not impossible for any county to be vegan, if everyone on the planet stopped eating meat there would be more food (e.g grains) available for everyone. The immense amount of space and resources taken up by animal agriculture would be more efficiently used to grow other food types that would be able to feed a larger number of people.
Obviously I don't support hunting but the animals killed in the wild likely had a much better life than the ones raised to be slaughtered. Both are awful but hunting is perhaps the slightly lesser of two evils. I'm against both though.
You are aware that virtually every piece of meat you eat has additives and chemicals pumped into it, right? There's a reason why no one eats raw meat and why there are lots of infections associated with undercooked meat. People think they like meat but most of the time it's all the things added into it that actually make it palatable. I don't expect it ever will be made illegal, humans are too ignorant for that.
Okay I'm not lying when I say I literally screeched at your description of a fur farm . If you really believe that I don't have a clue what to say to you . It's not some nice little village where the animals all live happily until they die and are turned into a coat for dumb people. It's hellish. Most fur farms cage the animals in terrible conditions, they aren't given enough food or water or space. Some even have their vocal chords ripped out to prevent screaming. Not to mention the abuse some go through from the demented workers there. Added to that, that often the animals can be skinned alive. They are some of the worst places on Earth.

It seems we have reached an impasse. You will never agree with my lifestyle, and I will never agree with yours.
I'm not going to respond to your idiotic claims that the whole world could be vegan... Go to Africa and tell them they can no longer survive off the little meat they can find. Go to Alaska and tell them to try and grow crops with constant snow.
I really don't care how you choose to live your life. You really shouldn't care how I choose to live mine.
But hey, you have REALLY pissed me off by being so judgemental, so in your honour I plan to double my meat portions for the rest of the month.

Same He says it once and while when someone offers him a burger or something like that and HATES hanging out with other vegans. Like, it's good that you're a vegan and all, but you don't have to throw it everyone's face and act as if you're a better person Literally no one cares.
I remember there was this girl in high school who went vegan for like two months and that's ALL she would talk about She would always yell at everyone who ate the subs in the cafeteria (they had ham, turkey, chicken and etc.) and she got suspended because she knocked over like 5 people's lunch trays and this girl got up and smack the **** out of her She had a meltdown when she found out veggie burgers had some egg product in them and started eating "free range" meats

When your lifestyle is harmful to the ones around you, shouldn't that be a cause for concern?

I have vegan friends and they respect my decision to eat meat. Even if they didn't, I have freedom of choice. This is a free society, after all.

The whole world could be vegan, just because someone doesn't want to adapt doesn't mean that they can't. But I agree that it will never happen.
Well isn't that just silly, if I didnt care how other people lived their lives I wouldn't be vegan in the first place would I? If I was happy to see people slaughtering and exploiting animals because that's "their choice" then that wouldn't be very vegan of me.
Yes, because I should really be worried about your poor feelings when you contribute to the torture and death of animals daily. Oh no, not someone eating meat. I am shook at the thought. Not like that doesn't happen everyday in life or anything. Anyway enjoy your extra cholesterol and carcinogens hun .

My mom would die of lack of proper nutrition if she wasn't able to eat meat due to a condition she has so no. Just respect each other's choices! You can be vegan if you want but don't expect others to follow you.
