I can't imagine the masses rushing to shell out 800$ for a Pixel (what's that? ) the phone would of stood a better chance if it was available, subsidized, on other carriers also.

The two tone color. I thought maybe it would be for wireless charging. It's an awkward design.
HTC is quite known for using this design language and as man***** pointed out on page 2 - they aren't copying iphones becauce the truth is iphones copied the M# series.
I find it awkward and childish looking myself,though. I wish they would of went for a solid color back case to replicate the IPhone

I didn't know Google offered financing? unless you're talking about VZ? Google just isn't established in the phone arena to be asking these prices. I applaud them for moving away from the budget market to flagship status but this will go the same way as HTC (8,9,10) overpriced and ignored due to being priced the same as the "name brands"
