FL is under hurricane watch. A new model shows the storm passing by very close to Miami on early Thursday morning, its gonna be a big one

Honestly the slowness of the hurricane is sort of killing me, because the predictions are so all over the place rn

I live in South FL and many schools have started cancelling starting tomorrow. They definitely don't want to wait until last minute.

And the devastation in the Caribbean is sad. My folks don't need this. They are already so fragile!

You'll probably get a little bit of rain, and we in Boston could as well. But how much we get won't depend on how strong Matthew is wind-wise, as it'll likely be accelerating to the NE and undergoing extratropical transition by the time it reaches out area. It won't be a big deal.

Here in Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo has been raining a LOT. The classes has been cancelled in a lot of colleges and schools.

Everyone is freaking out over this hurricane, i dont have time for it!! Times like this makes you appreciate when everything is normal.. no massive lines in the gas stations or grocery stores.. im just trying to chill and people are acting like the world is ending.

Here in SC, the chirren are out of school for the next three days..but it's not even raining and the rain doesn't suppose to come till Friday.

but the Governor said they are expecting evacuees from the coast..but they can use the gym.

They cancelled school tomorrow and Friday. Kinda mad because now it messes up everything and those are the two days of the week that I work most so I literally won't work for this week

Plus I DOUBT I'll be able to catch up on school work during those two days anyways since all of my books are online (ain't nobody got time to carry around a brick) and if the power goes out, which it most likely will, I won't have any of my school books.

So literally a day or two of staying indoors drinking hot water, taking cold showers, and doing nothing. Yay!
