Imo, they appear that way but they're doing the complete opposite. Buzzfeed is not interested in educating people, the people who work for them require a certain amount of hits to stay working for this company. This is packaged for hits, not to actually do good for social justice.

Exactly, because Buzzfeed is a corporation designed to profit. They're just utilizing the Internet age to turn their profit. They will never innovate anything as far as social justice goes because they brainlessly follow trends and don't genuinely care about any of their topics.
Yes, I'm the type of person these people fight for but it's so patronizing and condescending to me. It has a good message but most of it is fluff and does little to educate or allow any room for a sensible debate. They use the same rehearsed talking points that do not add anything new to the conversation. I no longer consider myself to be a liberal because of how obtuse they have become.
I just watched the second video and I am cringing so hard. I have never heard any white people say or do any of the stuff that were mentioned and I'm gay but the straight video was cringe worthy too. All of these people need to start meeting new people.
