Perfect Illusion vocals sound like the ones on Applause (hit), and the one she used on Bad Romance for the verses (hit) so I don't see the problem NOW.
And Dope remains her best ballad (after Brown Eyes though), so nah, we're good.
I read that thread before I listened to the performance.....I was expecting way worse it started out really good I thought! She kinda gradually lost steam as it went on and then it took a turn when the key change came
She seems to know it was rough though since she wanted to re-do the key change part, so I'm sure she'll work on it and get the hang of it. She should lower the key for the acoustic versions tbh.
Aside from the performance, that whole interview was one of her best yet. She seemed like back to her normal self, I guess, talking about how pop music was her #1 passion, how she loves her fans, its all about the performance, etc. I don't know, this just seemed more Gaga than most of her other interviews this era and I was here for it.
