I wanna spend a week end in a city I've never been to but I'm kinda 'anxious about it. I don't really know how to organize everything. I feel like it could be very exciting though.
Have you ever traveled alone? If so, what did you do? Visit famous places, went to bars, beach...? Share you experience!

I'd love to because none of my friends really want to travel and I've been feeling the URGE for a good 2-3 years now. But I'm too anxious to do it...

I've been on city breaks by myself, it was fun because I really enjoyed having the freedom to do whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. I went to museums, concerts, theater, just walked around, anything.
This month I'll be going on my first beach holiday alone, a whole week to myself, I think it will be super relaxing.

I travel alone a lot between coasts because my family is all on the east coast but I've never actually taken a holiday/vacation alone. I rarely even like to go to the grocery store down the block from my apartment alone

In a way it is, you just need to get over the initial fear of being on your own and then it's a really great experience imo. I'd say make sure to invest time into the planning process, because it will give you security and confidence, but once you got your transport/accommodation sorted and have some basic understanding of your destination, just be open to the experience and you will have a great time.

I KNOW you're right, but I just can't bring myself to actually do it, I'm too nervous.

do it guys!!
the WORST that can happen, which probably won't, is that you find out you don't like traveling alone... and so what? you still got to visit wherever you went
now the best that can come out of it? a much longer list

I want to go to Stockholm on my own for MelFest but eh, I'm too scared even with it being one of the safest places in Europe

I've never done it but I wouldn't be against the idea. I know people who have done it and they've all had positive experiences.

Yup. Currently on a solo trip in Los Angeles alone as a matter of fact.

I've done it and loved it lol. You can pace yourself, do what you want to, see what you want to, spend as many time as you want to seeing exhibits in a museum. It's just wonderful. Just research the city you're travelling to very well before going. You'll feel proud that you were able to navigate through an unknown place by yourself.

Yes, all of my friends have financial problem so they can not join with me.
From Taiwan, I traveled to Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Hirosima and Kyoto), China (Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, GuangZhou), Hongkong, Macau, Vietnam (Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City), Singapore, Thailand (Bangkok and Phuket), Indonesia (Jakarta), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) and Australia (Sydney and Melbourne)
I go alone all by myself.

I traveled to London, Paris, Barcelona, Lisbon for the first time from the US by myself this year
Also I did a road trip from Indiana to Colorado and South Dakota alone too
I was enjoying time with myself so much. I think my friends would not be able to sustain the amount of walking and driving I have done

SLAY.
The things I'm scared of is that i'll get lost (which is like 100% sure I ill because I even get lost in my own city ) and I'll be depressed because I'll see other people with their friends/family having fun . It's so stupid though.
