She has denied this, however her record label wants to drop "Alejandro" for "Dance In The Dark".
I love Alejandro but Dance In The Dark Is my favourite!!!!

Alejandro is already getting played on most radio stations, and it's recieved many positive reviews. It's already in iTunes top 50. The song will grow. It's personally my fave and ***** ALL OVER dance in the dark.

I like Dark In the Dark too but Alejandro already starting to impact.

And her label is crazy for wanting DITD. It's clear that Monster should be the 4th (and maybe final) single. I'm sure Interscope will compromise though, because they've made good decisions for their artists in the past.
