As a white guy I totally understand the knee-jerk reaction lots of white people feel when their culture is targeted, but ultimately I can recognize that an attack on the vices of white culture is only an attack on me in proportion to the extent to which I am guilty of its offenses.

I think the main issue I personally have with generalising "white culture" is how large it is... well there isn't really one "white culture", is there? There are many different cultures which are made up of predominately white people, but we're hardly one culture.
To me stereotyping a whole group of people just based on the colour of their skin is always gonna be wrong; for minorities because it's marginalising them, obviously, and for majorities because the diversity is just too large to have any kind of common thread amongst a great majority of its peoples.
