I just finished watching Lars von Trier's Melancholia an hour ago and I'm still breathless. I think it's one of the best things I have ever watched, honestly.
I've never seen anything so painfully familiar in my life.
Visually spectacular, beautifully acted, compelling dialogue, strong direction.
There's a big chance many you not like it though, as it's not for everyone, keep that in mind.
Cruel Intentions I LOVE Sarah Michelle Gellar. This movie is so seductive. Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are in it too.
The Crush If you love a film about a girl who is obsessed with an older guy this one is for you.
Vicky Cristina Barcelona
You got to watch this for Penelope Cruz.
Bridesmaids
The funniest movie you will ever see.
Scream
Best slasher franchise.
Basic Instinct
"A violent, suspended police detective investigates a brutal murder, in which a seductive woman could be involved."
Bring It On
"A champion high school cheerleading squad discovers its previous captain stole all their best routines from an inner-city school and must scramble to compete at this year's championships."
Amazing + Funny.
The Cabin in the Woods
This movie is either hated or really loved by horror fans. I absolutely LOVE IT because of how unexpected it is.
It's a really great LGBT themed movie, it's not the cliche "aw I need to come out and accept myself cries cries' story but about gay guys in a city having fun. It's refreshing to watch and very relatable.
