Lol obviously you are not from the US and do not live here. Nicki Minaj is a mainstream artist, she does not have a set demographic. When she signed with Young Money, Wayne decided to put her and Drake into the spotlight (mainstream radio, promotion, tours, etc). Urban artists are more along the lines of Plies, Birdman, Dorrough, etc.
