BW, aka the one that started it all!

Only watched the first one of both but I'll say PA

BW.

Both are awful tbh.

Paranormal Activity (part 1) haunted me for months. It's the creepiest and most stressing movie I've seen to date.

All of them are TRASH

Watched BW a couple of days ago, it wasn't scary at all. I still have nightmares from PA tho.

PA I is one of the most stressing horror movies I've seen to date. Its sequels are trash though.

Both are incredibly underwhelming and unremarkable but at least Blair Witch isn't total crap so I guess it wins.

It's hard to compare the entire series since they both have extravagant duds, so ranking by movie is probably better. And even though Blair Witch is what really influenced Paranormal Activity, I think the first movie is a more improved version of that same idea.
