Also I think I accidentely destroyed my friend's faith today. He said something about incest being gross and I jokingly referenced that according to the bible the world was populated via incest and he looked shook I think he never though about it that way

What exactly would a fundamentalist atheist be? Since atheism is a lack of belief there is nothing to be fundamental about?

^Yeah, but he wasn't devout anyway. He's your usual only-goes-to-church-on-Christmas type Christian.
Which is basically at least 90% of people who still identify as Christian here in Germany.
It's less of a deep-rooted belief and more of a leftover social convention to most people here I think.

Richard Dawkins - The God Delusion

so a quick story, I went to the library and I was trying to find the book myself under "religion section" and I couldn't find it anywhere, meanwhile the women who were working there at the library started to talk about god, what their priest said at church last Sunday and how greateful they are to have god

So, I was little uncomfortable by going to these women and ask for a book called "The God Delusion"
so, after a minute of hesitation, I went to the lady who worked there and asked if she has any Richard Dawkins books, she then went to her computer and asked me "which one?" and started reading names of his books. When she read the book I was looking for, I said: "Yes, The God Delusion" and she was like "oh... ok." , did an awkward look with her face and move on to finding the book. Anyways, it's here now and it has over 300+ pages, and I already got to page 45! And guuurl, Richard spilled so much TEA already, I recommend it very much! There were also things I didn't know before: like theist, deist, panteist and atheist. I know about the former and latter, but not those two in the middle.
It's a very great book, and right now so far he was talking about the importance of defending secularism, and why concept of abrahamic God or any supernatural belief is false, and he will later go into details.

I am loving this book so much already
