Yes, pitbulls don't bite more people than other breeds, but they're too powerful and they don't let go. Maybe more needs to go into owning one instead of just killing them.

PItbulls are like weapons. In the hands of a responsible owner they will be wonderful dogs but if the owner is uninformed or has bad intentions they will be a threat.

And as it has been mentioned before, a pitbull will do more damage with one bite than a chihuahua with a whole attack.

I still feel sympathy for the dogs who will be put down. It's not their fault.

They're not a bad breed. Some just have bad owners who do nothing but excite their temperaments. Its completely unfair, because some smaller dogs are just as aggressive. I don't care about the size difference. An aggressive animal is an aggressive animal and they all need to be treated the same.

So basically, poor people cannot own a pitbull. If you already own a pitbull, you must pay the registration fee and follow the rules with owning a pitbull, then your pet will be fine.
