It's hard to believe that 20 years ago, a young witch named Sabrina turned 16, levitated from her bed in her sleep, and saw her life change forever.
While other discoveries about what it means to be a teenage witch — like riding vacuums because they're faster than broomsticks and facing magical maladies that make high school even harder — would come later in the show's seven seasons, Sabrina the Teenage Witch premiered this week in 1996 by introducing viewers to the Sabrina and her aunts, Hilda and Zelda Spellman.
