My boyfriend and I are getting married next year, and have decided to keep our last names. The idea of adopting the other's last name is cute, but it's messy when you factor in all of the paperwork required to change your name on everything. Plus, in a way, it's like ownership, imo.
However I wonder if I have children which last name should they take cause my name is already hyphenated (sort of) so hyphenating isn't an option, it'd be too much

My bf's first and surname are Arabic, while mine are Swedish. I just really like that they fit with each other, so I hope we can just keep our own surnames. He really wants me to take his tho.
