It's no secret that she and her team are very chart conscious so they're aware of how the song is currently fairing. They either have something good planned leading up to the album launch or she genuinely just wants to put the album out and that's that. She's just not the same artist most of her fans fell in love with and that's OK but she can't really expect to do whatever she wants and still see even a fraction of her old success. The fact that ARTPOP looks like the 1989 era compared to this is slightly embarrassing though

I'll be happy with just some quality cuts from the record but I do miss feeling like her releases were a bonafide event that got people talking for better or worse.

The album is not typical gaga or pop album..they're not focusing on the singles but the album..its not like they will do promo and suddenly a rock dance song with raw loud vocals will be all over the radios etc. I expect album promo and promo in general when the album will drop..there's no need to be worried about success of an artist that loves doing her thing and be happy about it.
