She supposedly rejected some ideas he had that were dance-pop right off the bat, and so none of what was ever worked on was that sound.

Yeah, i think she's done with the performance art aspect of her artistry. I honestly think people like Tony Bennett, and Elton John have inspired her to focus solely on the music and not the visuals. I guess it's a good thing cause it will make this era different from the rest. But i hope she does eventually go back to infusing music with performance art cause that was one of the reasons why i fell in love with her. Some people seem to think her crazy imagery and performance art distract from the music but I actually think that they elevate the music and bring it to a whole new level.

I love that she's actually reinventing herself. BTW was a reinvention in sound, but not in imagery. She's doing a complete make over and it was long overdue.

I don't think she is doing that, I mean I don't expect her to give birth to the alien race but I think she will have some striking visuals

A dated 80s pop-rock mess. It certainly wasn't made to be a refreshing pop smash. Her idea was once to bring art and eccentricity into the mainstream. Now she's made it clear that she wants no association with it.

It's funny how she talks in every interview how she loves performing and being on stage and three weeks into the single era she still didn't perform it (other than that club)

Poor P.I all that can save her is the Superbowl or a viral video. I am less concerned on its position.
Its the drought that bothers me, i just need two or three performances of the good sis P.I, to feel her art and heart pour through it. Then she releases a guitar only version of P.I on itunes.
