How can a song grow on me that clocks at 3 minutes, has two verses for 15 seconds and the rest is basically just screaming the chorus at me? What is there left to discover after several listens?

It only took me 3 listens for me to enjoy it but the last chorus is messy and abrasive

It's nice and then the key change ruins everything and I don't wanna listen to it again for next 4 days. But I like it somehow. It's not that bad.
