They really need to make a mature anime like that, I would TOTALLY watch it. Stopped caring about Ash around Gen 3 or so. It's not even like they need to kill Ash to make it happen, I'm sure the current anime is still hella profitable and they'll keep Ash 10 and a loser even when my grandkids are watching; I just want a spin off side series for the SIZABLE number of us fans who grew up in RBY days haven't haven't outgrown the brand, just the immature and reductive anime.
