It sounds incredible from what she's teased so far. She performed Rise somewhere last year and it sounded really soulful.
She also teased FUBU on her instagram and I can't remember what the lyrics are but it appears to be about black culture/black people not getting credit for their achievements/something in that vein.
There's this other one she teased on snapchat a lot. Uptempo. Sounds like a major jam. Can't figure which one it is from the tracklist but it has the lyrics
"but I bet on it you'll all be here when the lights come on, still looking for nothing" if I recall correctly.
I'm not a big social media person and I don't really follow celebs on there. I just get my news on ATRL and Solange wasn't on my radar anymore. So excited for Friday! 12 new songs!
