I have IT class at school and for our end-project we get to do whatever we want. I think turning a singleplayer game into a multiplayer one would be pretty ****ing awesome. I just... Have no idea how lol.

There's almost always at least two playable characters on the screen. Some areas only have one playable character, though.

That's pretty ambitious for a high school project, have you even checked if something like this is legal?

If I'm not using it for commercial purposes and give credits to the right companies, it's legal I think

Not sure, I think you have to hack and change the games coding or some sh*t. I think that's how they do all those cool mods to GTA5.

You're gonna have to do some heavy modding. Like there was a mod that made Skyrim multiplayer.
