New Miley Cyrus album due in June, then no more music “for a while”
Looking for a playlist to blast in your car this summer? You’re in luck, because Miley Cyrus’ next album could be just what you’re craving. The “Last Song” star’s new album — which she describes as having “a techno vibe” — drops in June, just in time for all those car rides to the beach with the windows down.
“My record is coming out this summer,” Miley said. “I’m excited about that. I’m looking forward to that, and then hopefully I can continue to do more films. [The album is] a little different. It’s kind of poppier, but then it still has an edge. All of my music kind of has to. I think it’s really fun. It’s definitely a good summer CD. It’s good to blast in your car.”
Unfortunately for diehard fans of Miley’s tunes, the yet-to-be-named LP will be Miley’s last record before her break from music. After the album’s release in June, the “Hannah Montana” actress is focusing almost entirely on movies; though her “Last Song” promotion schedule was recently built around the shooting of “Hannah Montana,” Miley would rather just be doing film fulltime.
“I have one more record coming out this summer in June, and then after that, I want to take a step back from music for a while,” Miley says of her recording hiatus. “I want to continue to do film. Later in life, another record. But for now, I’d like to focus on movies.”
Miley is already filming her new video! And according to MTV her new single will be out very soon! Album release date is June 8 according to The Last Song chat and MileyWorld!
Since Miley is supposedly giving up music this will be like a "farewell" album too. Her fans are going to make SURE she goes out on top if they never see an album from her again.
why this bitch always trying to go to head to head with an established Diva every time? She got the #1 from Kelly a couple of years ago and tried to come for Whitney's wig last year.
OMG!! I hope that Miley gets a number one single. I have gotten to the point where I am done disliking her and I want her to be successful...she is my age and representing the new generation in the music industry.
