I'm presuming the majority of people in this thread are not actors and aren't friends with people who are. It's pretty common practice to hide your age from casting directors, especially women. Some of them seem to struggle to be able to see past your actual age to your playing age. This really isn't that unreasonable.

I wonder what celebrity actually cares that much. It's not like you won't find out, especially if you're already established.
