The crooked man parts seemed completely out of place like what kind of Babadook mess but I ultimately didn't come away disappointed. I feel the first one is superior though and remains one of my fave horror films thus far.

I'm rooting for this franchise.

I couldn't help but die every time the old man shouted "My house!" out of nowhere like a little kid

It wasn't any worse than the first Conjuring film.

The story is kinda messy at times but it's a solid horror film
. James Wan's long tracking shots during scary scenes are pure gold. He is so good at that.

Neither of them are classics but TC2 was a perfectly competent horror film, pretty much on par with the first.

Of all the awful horror films released in recent years why would you drag one of the only decent ones.

It liked it as much as the first one. Great movie.
