And I don't see what's "racist" about it either unless there's a stereotype about Asians faking their driver's licenses or being bad drivers, which I personally have never heard of.

This. Don't mean it in a rude way bc you're okay, OP. Some officers can just be petty and like to cause trouble because of their balance of power in comparison to yours... it's good you said yeah and moved on.
