Ugh, in a parallel universe, Madonna toured Bedtime Stories looking just like she does there. I'm slain just thinking about it.

but i really like that poem she reads.
I love this one for its beautiful poem that she recites so passionately. Her voice is so emotive, and the sentiment is such a great complement to the song.
I had a listen to the Confessions Tour from beginning to end, and omg Paradise (Not For Me) suddenly hit me. I'm not sure why I never really appreciated it before. I especially love when Yitzhak is singing in English.
I want to say "Devil Pray" but tbh that was the core sound of Rebel Heart, so I can't imagine how else it would sound.
Hmm maybe "Veni Vidi Vici" then - and not necessarily the self-referential bit, I think Rebel Heart was heavy on that, and for good reason - it was a very reflective album. But I love the sound of that song - it feels very trend-setting, very unapologetic and very paving-my-own-way type thing.
I'd like to see her collaborate with more interesting artists, no more god damn Nicki Garbaj PLEASE (though she's kinda like the "Candy Shop" of her albums it seems) and maybe just have a more carefree, Music-esque attitude.
Still mad about the WP I got for this. HEW reported it?

This + "Substitute for Love" are EASILY the best parts of the Confessions tour, but I agree, this version of "Paradise" is AMAZING and including it on the CD is about the only non-messy thing about the tour's CD release.

Hung Up
Clearly the let-me-go-to-the-bathroomiest part of The Confessions Tour is the whole "my dad threw me against the wall / they wanted me to fukcing shoot someone / i believe in angels blah blah blah the light" chit. And the most tragic outfit was that blood-orange nightmare in the second segment.

The Studio 54 segment on The Girlie Show World Tour is definitely my fave now. The Geisha-Anime from Drowned World Tour is probably my second fave. The Gypsy segment from Sticky & Sweet Tour is my now fave, and I have no clue why I picked Pimp as my fave, cause Old School is far better.
