hopefully this album will be as good as she-wolf.....and for her sake i hope it has much more commercial success

I Actually think that the general english speaking public doesnt understad shakira. I think she should stick with latino sounds and ifluence (hips dont lie/whenever wherever) and /or obviously continue with the brilliant rock stuff she's been doing with her english material.. (dont bother/monamour/men in this town)

She is the "BRITNEY" in latinoamerica, she is the most famous popstar here...people loves her.

she is like the latina queen of music.. literally no other female comes close.. she is freaking talented and writes and produces since day one.. i mean yes the sensuality thing like britney comes to mind however shakira has talent, heart and brains to back her up..

she is Madonna size big in Latin America. in fact the only 2 female pop stars that still sell a lot in Latin America are Shakira and Madonna...
do you know Spanish? her lyrics are amazing but when you translate them into English sometimes they don't make sense

I just want new music cause she takes 4 years to come out with albums and i think she wants to become a mom now. so the next break is gonna be so damn long

Actually I don't. Took French in high school. But yes, on the DVD side of Fijacion Oral Vol. 1, they have a feature to translate the lyrics to English and they are all over the place. Even though I don't understand what she is saying, her voice is really beautiful and emotional on her Spanish songs. That's why I adore FOV1, it's so beautiful.

I have heard a few of her older songs, not a large majority though. Waiting for her GH possibly to experience them, or if that doesn't happen sometime soon download them. I do love "Ojo Asi" though. Great song!

OFV2 is good for me as well. I like vol. 1 more, but it's still a great album. "Animal City", "Don't Bother", "Dreams For Plans", and "How Do You Do" are my favorites from them.
