Except the age (22), this is spot on, especially the part about streaming. I get anxiety every time I open Spotify, for fear all my music will be gone and I'll forget my favorite songs

I got 27-31 as well but the description is weird cos the iPod and LimeWire were still on the rise / popular in the late 2000s and CD's were still a thing in 2007. Tapes are the only old thing here maybe around 2004-2005 I think that's when I last remember em. I'm 22. Yeah so like even someone born in like 2001 (15 years old) will remember this all

And reading the comments here that's pretty much the case.

I actually briefly remember Walkmans though in the late 90s. I was 5 and that's when you just start to get true memory so I don't remember in great depth but I remember them though

I got this one too. I'm a bit younger than that but my taste in music is predominantly late 90's/early 2000's so I'm not surprised

I remember my CD player. It was EVERYTHING To me back then. I still have my cd case too where you could carry around like 25 cd's. Ugh going out to buy the physical copy made the experience so much more exciting tbh, the minute you get the shrink wrap off and look at the booklet >>>

I definitely used LimeWire tho when I got older lmao

I don't subscribe to streaming. My iTunes has all my music I've ever owned on it so I don't see the point in switching
