She actually sounds in a really good place right now, from that interview. Like she sounds passionate about the music and it's not like she's just trying to get hits. This definitely feels like a good sign to me and hopefully she can get the album out early next year. I honestly won't be sad to see I Will Never Let You Down, Poison, Body On Me etc. scrapped.

It's so sad to see that some artists have to go through a label that doesn't wanna release their music... I mean, she could be releasing her 3rd album now if they let her release in 2014. What a mess

This, and the fact that she was signed on a 360º deal with Roc Nation made things worse. They were making so much money from her fashion and TV gigs that they didn't even care about releasing her music. Now with Atlantic she is just signed for her music, so things will be different now.
